It's been a while, busy due to jobs!

It's been a while since the last time I posted at this blog. Yeah, i'm still struggling to lose weight but atm i have lost approximately 10-12 pounds thanks to Proactol. You can learn more about proactol from this video ;)

Reasons To Follow Your Mom's Advises

Everyone has their own mother. Most mothers are kind to us and always give us positive advises. When we were still children, they usually told us to go bed early, don’t sleep too late, and chew our foods before we swallow it. Unfortunately we were not always did what they told us to do. Sometimes we slept late because we played playstation or supernintendo. Sometimes we only chewed our food 2-3 times before we swallowed it.

Maybe you never knew that these things are important for our body. Our behaviors lead us to what is good and what is not for ourselves. Those who always sleep 5-6 hours a day, for example, are more likely to gain weight faster than those who sleep 7-8 hours a day. This is why sleeping is very important especially if you really want to become slimmer.

The other important thing is chewing our foods. Doctors suggested us to chew our foods at least 20 times before we swallow them. If you don’t chew your foods, your body will become busier and eventually your metabolic rate will become slower. Now you know why we should follow our mother’s advises, don’t you?

Low Carb Diet

Low carb diet is useless, believe me. The rules are always too strict to be followed, and in long run you won’t be able to keep up the same pace because you’ll lose your energy (carbohydrate). Low carb diet believes that if we cut our carbohydrate consumption, we’ll lose weight faster than if we follow any traditional low fat diets. Atkins diet is the most popular example from low carb diet programs.

Maybe you haven’t noticed that with low carb diet we lose weight because we lose our glycogen and muscle, not our excess fat. It happens because when we cut our carbohydrate consumption, our body won’t have enough glycogen to bind our muscle. In long term, you’ll lose some of your muscles and your glycogen. This is not good for our health, of course. But if you ask Dr. Atkins (founder of Atkins Diet), obviously he will deny this argument because he really make a good amount of money from his low carb diet program.

Actually what we need is to cut the “quality” of our carbohydrate consumption, not the “quantity”. Some foods contain high carbohydrate but low in glycemic such as fruits and carrots. Foods which contain high carbohydrate and also full of glycemic are rice, pasta, white sugar, etc. Now if you eat your meal carefully, you can reduce your carb consumption without losing any muscles and glycogen. Of course it will be better if you follow traditional low fat diet plan although (maybe) you’ll lose weight slower than this program.

Someone Else's Path?

The easiest way in achieving our goal is to follow someone else’s path. This kind of method works in every aspects of our life. Whether you want to be successful in your business or only in your personal life, following someone else’s victory road is always the simplest way. Weight Loss is not different. You need to know what works best for others, then follow it.

However, sometimes what works greatly for others doesn’t always work for us. If a 40 old man tells you that he lost 12 pounds with calorie shifting plan within 2-3 months, probably you will only lose 2-3 pounds. People have different body each other. But if you ask me, actually there are several plans which work for everyone (although the results are not always the same).

Are you wondering what are those plans? OK. First, you must remember that higher metabolism rate is always better. People who know nothing will teach you that more often you eat, you’ll gain weight faster. The case is not as simple as that. If you eat less foods but you eat quite often (5-6 times per day), eventually you will lose weight faster. Of course you need to reduce the amount of the fats in each meal if you want to lose even faster.

Higher metabolism rate is not only about eating. You need to take exercises more than once per day. If you think jog 40 minutes every day is enough, why don’t you try to jog three times per day with 15 minutes each? Believe me, it is much better. Your body will get used to faster and higher metabolism rate and in the end, you will lose weight faster. Better metabolism also means you will have better eye sight. Tips for Mommies

Weight loss plans for normal people and for new mommies are different. Why do you think new mommies are always fatter than single women? You ate too many foods while you were still pregnant so it’s understandable if now you are struggling quite hard to get back to your normal habit. Another reason is because you are busy with your newborn baby. You breastfeed your baby and you also take care of your husband so you don’t have enough time for yourself.

It is true? Not really. Everyone always has time to relax. It’s up to them what they want to do in that situation. Some people go watch television, some people go to gym, some people play games, etc. Now you must do something worthy every day. Well, the easiest thing to do is to breastfeed your own child. Some mommies told other females to breastfeed their children. They didn’t know that breastfeed will burn up to 750 calories. A good thing for both your children and your weight, isn’t it?

Beside breastfeed, of course you need to get sweat. If you have some friends, ask them to run every morning or every evening. You can use treadmill if you want but it’s much easier if you have partners. You will be motivated every time you run, jog, or go to gym while you have friends. Different if you are alone, sometimes we are just too lazy to even wake up from our bed! Get strong, girls!
